Introduction

Welcome to the unofficial website of the Ayr Coastguard Rescue Team.  The Rescue Team is located in the South Ayrshire town of Ayr, and is comprised entirely of volunteers who are on standby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to emergencies at or near the coast.

The team is equipped with a Coastguard Rescue Vehicle - a Nissan Navara.  Team members are trained in first aid, Rope Rescue and Search techniques.
